How’s your sleep? Do you feel sleepy, tired or lethargic most days?

If you’re unable to get consistent, quality sleep, here are some tips and truths about what’s keeping you awake!

Truth: You prepare for sleep all day long!

What you think about, say and do during the day affects your sleep at night. (Stress, drama, grief, trauma, etc.)

Truth: What you eat and drink affects your sleep (especially 2-3 hours before bedtime).

Limit your intake of greasy or spicy foods. Limit alcohol.


  1. Make sure your day is more positive than negative.
  2. No TV, Internet or other electronics at least 1 hour before bedtime.
  3. No electronic devices in your bedroom! They interrupt your sleep!
